On this, his third release on Freerange, we see him tread a deeper path and with the man like Axel Boman delivering two very different remixes you know already you're in for a right treat. Keep Coming is a brilliant mood setter with it's 118bpm tempo, filtering stabs and bouncing bassline. Watch out for the breakdown though cos it's unashamedly epic and will have the dancefloor doing the do all over the shop. Next up we have the Raw Mix of Brotha, where heavy stripped back beats are the order of the day, not forgetting the deep pads and percussion loops which drive the track along nicely. Throw in some dubby flute samples and a simple repeated vocal hook and you have a track that screams 'House!' The omnipresent Axel Boman takes on the remix and delivers two quite different interpretations, both bearing his trademark off-kilter approach to mixing and arranging. The first mix introduces a simple two-chord piano sample which brings an uplifting feel to the track without ever over-egging the arrangement. Instead, Boman almost works backwards with his arrangements, deconstructing them resulting in subtle twists and turns that you're not expecting. His second mix goes seriously deep and is subtly brilliant in our opinion. Echos of Pepe Bradock come into play here with layers of textured ambience continually catching your ear. A slowly moving and seemingly quite random chord progression unfolds and all of a sudden you're drawn in to Bomans world. It's easy to see and hear why he's being cited as one of the most interesting and exciting new producers in house music right now.
